Given how unscientific the magazines and their testing of vehicles can be, it's not surprising that all but a few over the seven years have run low 14s. We've seen a 13.7 and 13.9 out of two magazines I can't quite recall. There's just so many factors to it with driver, conditions and tire condition being the tip of the iceberg. Having been a part of a few magazine shoots I can tell you they don't go "all out" in testing. Two-three runs and the best time (or an average if you're Motor Trend) and that's your "best time".
